Thirsty? Try a Refreshed Brand.

So one of our favorite little soda-pop companies decided to step it up and rebrand themselves. Pepsi has updated their logo and quite frankly, me thinks me likes it! Im not even a soda drinker — yes, I know, sacrilege among us designers pulling all-nighters...substituting food for caffeine because our clients are slow payers...alas I digress. If you compare the current design to the redesigns of the past you will see that from 1973 til recently, not much has changed. The look is very modern. Very similar to the Obama logo...but hey CHANGE is good! They have abandoned the visually balanced red white and blue mark for an optically deceptive balanced mark of the same colors.
